A revamped 18th-century mill house in Woodstock immerses guests in nature.

The Millstream restaurant has reopened its doors in Woodstock, New York. The seasonally driven concept occupies a 18th-century mill house in the Hudson Valley that has been reimagined by operating partner Jennifer Oz LeRoy. The space’s naturally illuminated interiors feature wood beams, an oversized fireplace, wraparound bar, and expansive windows that frame idyllic vistas of the setting. “I really wanted to do a combination of emphasizing the old features while bringing the outside in,” she says. “You want to create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces.”
